From Broken to Badass: My Journey to Wholeness

Let's just say I've never been one to shy away from a challenge. My life has been a wild ride, fueled by a relentless thirst for knowledge and a deep love for building connections with others. For eight years, I poured my heart into serving my community through DeMolay International, then did an about-face and enlisted in the U.S. Navy for another eight. Those organizations solidified service as a core value.

But let's be honest, even the toughest warriors get battered. Leaving the service, I was a wreck – physically broken and emotionally spent. Chronic pain and depression had been unwelcome companions for most of my life, and now they felt like they were calling the shots.

Here's the thing – I'm a fighter. Maybe that's a bit cliché, but it's true. Instead of succumbing to the darkness, I decided to rebuild myself, brick by stubborn brick. And guess what? As I healed, people started noticing. They saw the spark coming back, the fire in my eyes, and they wanted a piece of it.

"Hey, Josh," they'd say, "how'd you do that? How'd you go from broken to badass?" And that's how I found myself here, sharing the tools and techniques that helped me transform my own life.

Because here's the real truth: you have the power to heal, to overcome, and to create a life that's bursting with joy and possibility. And that's exactly what I'm here to help you do.

Why I Do What I Do

My journey wasn't always sunshine and rainbows. It was a messy, challenging process filled with setbacks and disasters. But through it all, I discovered a treasure trove: physical practices, mental tools, and deep connections with a community that helped me thrive.

When I began rebuilding, I was admittedly skeptical of the things I was learning. I was desperate though and tried to keep an open mind. Witnessing the impact these tools had on my own life sparked a fire within me. I realized that everyone deserves the chance to experience the same level of healing, empowerment, and contentment. That's why I created this platform – to share the knowledge I've gathered, the skills I've honed, and the lessons I've learned the hard way.

This isn't just about offering service; it's about supporting a community where we can all help each other on our paths to wholeness. Here, you'll find a judgment-free zone where you can explore your potential, embrace new challenges, and discover the badass warrior within yourself. Because guess what? You are capable of incredible things. Let's embark on this journey together!

Motivation comes from within — but rewards, accountability, and deadlines sure speed up the process
